4. Wellbeing Action Plan toolkit

Use a public health, or workplace safety, model to look at the different actions you already – or could – take for each wellbeing driver in an organisation or policy area.

A public health approach looks at three different areas for action

a) Restitution: dealing with an immediate issue to help people recover quickly

b) Intervention: prevention and early intervention or to help people stay well once an immediate issue has been tackled

c) Promotion: actively promoting what will keep people thriving

Looking across the five drivers of wellbeing as they apply in the workplace you can look at what you already do, what you can add in quickly and easily, where the gaps, overlaps and priorities are.

This is tool is for a workplace action plan. This is what it might look like for a government context.
